Bad breath is one of those embarrassing parts of life that can happen to us all. While we're all quick to reach for some mints to cover up bad breath, we don't always realize that having an un-fresh mouth can actually be the result of an underlying health problem, or lack of certain things from our diet.
The problem with always reaching for things to "cover up" our breath is that we never get to the root of the problem. Worse, many mints, gums and mouthwashes on the market today are fill will unnatural ingredients and sugars that are just plain bad for us.
Not long ago, I became frustrated with the sugars and alcohols in all of the mouthwashes on the shelf at the drug store. I couldn't see how using something with so many scary ingredients could be good for my teeth, gums and throat in the long run. That's when I discovered that it was actually possible to make my own bad-breath-fighting mouthwash.
I came across an amazing recipe that I want to share with you guys. It does way more than just mask bad breath, it actually corrects the pH balance inside your mouth to promote a healthy, clean environment. The best part is, you only have to rinse for 30 seconds to see results - and it won't leave your mouth burning like popular mouthwashes do. Is it possible to make organic mouthwash at home? YES! Try it and discover the best way to fight halitosis! Remember, sweet breath means a sweet life.
