Don't you just love a good book? I sure do, and I always think of spring break as the best time to dive head-first into a great page-turner that really speaks to the soul. I'm talking, of course, about self-home or motivational books. I know, I know, this genre gets a bad rap sometimes for being "fluffy" or "preachy" - but I think these books can teach us so much! In this week's newsletter, we put the spotlight on books from some of today's biggest movers and shakers. I know that there have been many books that inspired me along the way to carry out my seemingly "impossible" goal of starting an apparel company when so many obstacles were in my way and so many doors seemed to shut on my face. Learning from influencers can help us to identify and launch our own dreams. We need to know where to look when we want to look up! There is just so much negativity in the world today, that we need to really guard the media we consume. Let your spring break be a period of renewal and refreshment by taking a break from all the negativity and the voices that tell you "no" to enjoy some solace in words that tell you "yes" and "this is how." Whether you're going to be spending spring break relaxing on a beach, at home with the kids - or even if you don't get an official "spring break" at all - I encourage you to load up your travel bag, kindle, or reading app with some truly positive reads. Here is another look at the list of must-read books featured in the BaliniSports newsletter this week:
